pete@safeguardmn.com Pete Thomes began his insurance career in 1982 at his father's agency. Pete's continued dedication to the insurance industry led to his obtaining his CIC designation in 1988. In 1997 he made the move to Milaca as manager of the JA Allen Agency. On April 1, 2003, Pete purchased the agency, in its entirety, from the Allen family and their partners.Pete's commitment to the Milaca community has been demonstrated by his involvement in many area organizations such as Milaca Chamber (past President),Economic Development Commission, Milaca Golf Board and past President of the Milaca chapter of Biz to Biz Inc. Pete also serves as President of the Professional Insurance Agents of Minnesota.

Steve Carlson has over 30 years of experience working with personal and commercial insurance. He has been with Safeguard Insurance Agency since 2005 and specializes in commercial business and farms. Steve is currently marketing Church/House of Worship programs for area churches. Steve has spent most of his career in the Princeton/Milaca area and understands the insurance needs of our community.
